On January 26th at 4:00 PM in Klinefelter 108, we will be holding the first DSU Filmmakers meeting of the year. This will be a very important meeting and I encourage you all to attend. We will be going over the schedule for the first half of the year and announcing some new projects. The project that will probably interest you the most is the brand new TV show that is now in development. We have been given permission to show our works on the local campus channel. Therefore Josh Nichols and I have decided to create a sitcom that will air weekly on this channel. This isn’t just our project though, we want this to be a community project and encourage support from those who are interested. Everyone will be invited to audition for parts and be on the staff of this new ambitious project. During the meeting we will be going over the main idea for the sitcom, show you our version of the pilot episode (this can be changed if the soon to be writing staff sees fit) and a bunch of other important tidbits. So again, I encourage you all to attend this meeting. This will soon become a campus wide event and I would like to see the club members have a major part in it.
