In honor of the two year anniversary of Roomies, Lilredhead Studios will be re-releasing the first five episodes of Roomies with cast commentary.  Today we introduce the second episode in the series.

The Date brings forth a classic scenario: the blunders of a first date.  Chris is a nice and timid guy and doesn't quite know how to handle his feelings for Erin.  It's a good thing he has friends like Steven and Joseph to help him!  Or is it such a good thing?  Steven's plan may be second guessed once Joseph enters the restaurant with a woman's dress on!

The episode was a leap forward from the pilot episode, developing the characters a bit further and using a funny (if not ridiculous) plot.  While the episode isn't usually thought of as the pinnacle of the series, it is a good episode and was seen by the crew as a step in the right direction.

The cast commentary was originally done for an eventual DVD release.  However, since the project was prematurely ended, we held off on releasing the DVD.  But now all special content will be released online for people to enjoy.  Bennett Gackle (Steven), Josh Nichols (Joseph), Ivan Mazala (Chris), Lydia Johnson (Erin) and Amy Tichy (Kayla) all participated in doing the commentary.
