In honor of the two year anniversary of Roomies, Lilredhead Studios will be re-releasing the first five episodes of Roomies with cast commentary. Up first is, you guessed it, the first episode! The Pilot introduces everyone to the three main characters of the series, Steven, Joseph and Chris. At the same time we are taken on a series of misadventures involving dorm room antics, class scheduling errors and of course, dealing with mom. The funny thing is this episode was never really popular until after it was showcased at the 2007 DSU Filmmakers Film Festival. Arguably the episode isn't the strongest in the Roomies lineup, but it can provide some laughs and insight into the student-produced project. The cast commentary was originally done for an eventual DVD release. However, since the project was prematurely ended, we held off on releasing the DVD. But now all special content will be released online for people to enjoy. Bennett Gackle (Steven), Josh Nichols (Joseph), Ivan Mazala (Chris), Lydia Johnson (Erin) and Amy Tichy (Kayla) all participated in doing the commentary.
