Roomies is a student produced sitcom from the minds of Chad Troftgruben and Josh Nichols.  Launched in the spring of 2006, Roomies had a two season run, amounting to seven episodes. The core of the series was about three college students (Steven, Joseph and Chris) and their misadventures through college. The series would range from heart warming, such as Chris and Erin's relationship, to the complete bizarre, like Joseph dressing up like a woman to help Chris out on a date.

Even though the series was fairly popular locally (especially after it ended), the life of the show was cut short due to technical problems.  Sixteen episodes were planned after season one; unfortunately only two were completed.  With the loss of the "Roomies House" and scheduling issues, the producers decided to put the series on indefinite hold.

From a technical standpoint, the series wasn't very great.  The producers worked with what they had, which wasn't a whole lot.  But in the end the lure of the series was the storylines.  So while the production values lacked polish, the plotlines picked up the slack and kept people coming back.
