Film Description:

After being stranded in the prehistoric age, Chad The Good Guy (Chad Troftgruben) must find a way to get back to his own time. Meanwhile, Justin The Bad Guy (Justin Huber) tries to restore the timeline by seducing Hoo Hoo Hoo Man’s wife. After setting everything right, Justin The Bad Guy once again screws everything up by causing a catastrophic disaster. With this event, a new time paradox occurs when Drunk Chad (Chad Troftgruben) comes from the future to warn Chad The Good Guy and Justin The Bad Guy of a new threat. With very little time, they prepare for their greatest challenge yet.

Film History:

If you could ever point out the lowest point in I.M. Independent Productions history, this would be it. The whole movie in an insult to amateur filmmaking (yes, even by our standards). First, lets start with the plot. The plot seemed okay on paper. Although there were some things that were questionable, when the plot was written, it looked like it could work out nicely. Sadly this never happened. The story starts out fine. But after Chad The Good Guy and Justin The Bad Guy return to their own time, the next 35 minutes of the film is an unbearable romp of pure boredom and major plot holes. What plot holes you ask? Well, first off, Chad’s future self comes to warn everyone about the Earth’s destruction, and the Earth does eventually get destroyed (yes I just spoiled the plot, send me a death threat if you actually care). But how the hell does Drunk Chad (who is only a couple months older then Past Chad) come back in time when the Earth in his time is gone? Okay, so maybe that’s not such a bad thing, because it is fantasy story. There are other unexcusable errors though, such as Chad’s mechanical hand mysteriously disappearing and reappearing from scene to scene, Justin’s clothes changing throughout the movie, Seeing Drunk Chad’s coat laying on the ground in the background on certain scenes, Chad’s hair changing length in some scenes, and a lot more. The sheer boredom of the movie is completely unacceptable. The movie moves at a snail’s pace with boring dialogue and even more boring plot development. The actual story was introduced in such a way that it was almost impossible to tell what the hell was going on half the time. The acting is the worst in any of I.M. Independent’s movies. Chad Troftgruben’s portrayal of Chad The Good Guy is hideously boring, not to mention not even slightly believable. Justin Huber’s dumb ass-ness nearly vanishes and is replaced with a hybrid of lame jokes and incoherent dribble. This movie is also the longest in the series (45 minutes long). When making this movie, Chad and Justin had the idea in their minds that since its so long, it had to be good. Boy, were they wrong. An even sader fact is that when the movie was finally done, Chad and Justin actually thought it was good. They showed it to all of their friends and they all seemed to accept and like it (they were probably just being nice). Only one person stood up and declared the movie to be sheer crap. To this day I thank Nate Kostelecky for stepping forward and speaking the truth, for I may still be in denial. You’re probably wondering why I wrote such a long description of this film since its so terrible. I consider this movie a major history lesson. If you are just starting to make movies, I urge you to watch this just to see what not to do in your films. This is advice coming from the writer and director of this film. Watch it and learn. It may be painful, but it’s a hell of a lesson.
