Film Description:

Justin The Bad Guy (Justin Huber), being the sole survivor of the Earth’s destruction, finds himself floating on an asteroid which supposedly has its own atmosphere. By using the power of his stupidity, Justin The Bad Guy constructs a time machine by using pieces from the asteroid. Justin The Bad Guy travels back in time to stop himself from blowing up the world. After saving the world, Justin decides to pay a visit to his good old friend, Chad The Good Guy (Chad Troftgruben). The end result is Chad The Good Guy fighting for his life and the safety of his beloved dog, Oliver.

Film History:

In April of 2002, Chad Troftgruben and Justin Huber were eager to do another movie. Chad suggested doing a sequel to The 99.99% Action Movie. However, there was a problem with this idea. Justin The Bad Guy blew up the Earth in the last movie, so how could a sequel be accomplished? Simple, take a hint from any lazy science fiction writer and fix the story by using the element of time travel. Sure, no one will notice that Justin The Bad Guy somehow survived the destruction of Earth, lived on an asteroid for a few months, and miraculously got the tools to create a time traveling device. However, the movie must be credited for launching the series in a new creative direction as well as eventually spawning the plot for The 99.9% Action Movie: The Movie. The movie itself is fun and is considered the best in the series. Physical comedy takes center stage in this one, compared to the cheesy tone of the two prequels. Although the movie does have its cheesy moments, such as Oliver being in two places at once and Chad The Good Guys infamous line, “I’m not a cop yet!” This movie also started another popular trend, using Pakaday’s voice as a narrator for the series. Pakaday is a cartoon character created by Chad Troftgruben. You can watch her misadventures at Lilredhead Comics. Pakaday was absent in The 99.9% Action Movie: The Movie because Chad thought it was better to show then tell. Overall, this movie was the high point of the series.
