Film Description: When Wolfman, the devious mastermind bent on making everyone hairy, escapes from jail, only one man can stop his madness. With his Guy Mobile and Guy Shot to assist him, Batguy races into the night to put the evil puff ball behind bars once and for all. Film History: The idea of Batguy originally came from the minds of Chad Troftgruben and Justin Huber sometime in 2002. The idea was to parody the entire Batman series, starting with Batman and ending with Batman and Robin (obviously Batman: Begins wasn’t out during this time). When this film was made though, Justin wasn’t around to play his part as the sidekick, Pigeon. So Batguy fought solo. The movie’s plot was created by Chad and Zach Tibor. The movie was short and cheesy (purposely). Half of the movie shows the Guy Mobile (a toy Batmobile) driving around to get to the Wolfman’s lair (with the stylish 60’s Batman music playing in the background of course). This movie also had another first for the crew, using Macromedia Flash to add special effects to the film. In one scene, Chad stood on a moving skate board with his “Guy Shot” in the air. With the power of Flash, a rope was added to the end of the shot to make it look like Batguy was flying into the scene. In the end the movie didn’t turn out that well. However, it still holds a special place in some people’s hearts. Film Information: Title: Batguy Genre: Comedy Released: 2002 Available: I.M.
