Film Description: After being ordered to kill an eccentric old man, Joe must do as he’s told or face his boss’ wrath. Film History: We tried to do a drama? Holy cow, where the hell have I been? When going through my tapes, I honestly did not remember making this movie. And what’s worse is it’s embarrassing to watch. Maybe after filming this thing, my mind magically buried it so I would never remember it. Anyway, it did have a couple funny moments (besides the horrendous plot and acting). I used to use a big white microphone to pick up all the sound with my old VHS camera. If you click on the thumbnail on the right, you’ll actually see it laying on the ground. During a scene, my dog Oliver came outside and started wandering toward us with curiosity. At one point, Nate’s character freaks out and yells at me, upon doing this, Oliver jumped up and put his two front feet on my lap. I have no idea why, perhaps he was protecting me? So we redid the shot, but this time Oliver discovered the microphone and began to sniff it, which of course caused the audio to go from us talking, to distorted sniffing. So that provides some pretty good laughs. Other then that the movie is about me talking to an old man and trying to build up the courage to kill him. Nate plays both the old man and my boss, which of course just destroys the realism right there. Not to mention the costumes are hideous. When Nate acts as The Boss, he would run around covering his face with his shirt. When I would go and meet The Boss, I wore a weird ass coat that was way too small for me. In the end, I kill the Old Man, but the Old Man transfers his soul to me, which causes me (who is now the Old Man) to transfer my soul to the boss. And so the two hitmen die and the Old Man lives through The Boss’ body. Um… yeah. Film Information: Title: The Truth Genre: Drama Released: 2000 Available: I.M.
