On February 12th and 13th from 5:00 - 7:00 PM in May Hall room 312 (DSU campus) we will be holding auditions for the new DSU Filmmakers’ film, Sabers II. For those of you who don’t know, Sabers II is the sequel to the 2005 film Sabers. For more information on the first film, just follow this link: http://www.dsufilmmakers.com/2005/02/08/sabers-2005/.

Like the first film, Sabers II will feature no dialog. The story is told through the actions of the characters. And so there will be no need to memorize lines for this film.

The two audition days are pretty much sign up days. However, we do have some major roles that need filled for this production. For the “main characters” we will be looking for a few different things, such as the ability to show emotion without the use of dialog.

So if you enjoyed the first film, are a Star Wars fan, or just like hitting people with sticks, then this should be a fun project for you to get involved in. Make sure you spread the word and tell your friends too, we’re hoping for a lot of involvement for this one.
