Burr! Is the first thing that comes to my mind, it was really cold. It seems that when ever we begin to make a project, the weather won’t agree with us.
This is my first completed project since “The Cap’n ‘n Robert Chronicles Pt. 2”, not including my guest appearance and minor camera work for the “99.9% Action Movie: The Movie.” To say the least, I was impressed with the final version of Sabers, It has been a while since I worked on any projects, but it turned out enjoyable. We tried incorporating new techniques with camera angles, using post-production filters, and a first for IMIndependent… it’s mute! No dialogue was used for Sabers. The music set’s the mood for each sequence in the film, and the sound effects add to the fast-paced action of the film. I am also a huge fan of the Star Wars movies. I have been in all the Space Wars movies and have also worked with Nate Kostelecky on an unfinished project, developing sword Choreography. When it came time to do Sabers, I was ready to go. It was a little difficult working with Brandon since it was his first time dueling in front of the camera. When it came time to work with Justin, it was much quicker, he has had some experience with dueling since he was also in Space Wars: Episode II, and Justin Huber’s Amazing Lightsabers!. The only problem I had with choreography, was when I had to fight off Brandon and Justin at the same time, there were many more problems to figure out, but in the end, it all ran smoothely.
The film is about 3 minutes long, great editing, good camera work, great sound editing, and good music arrangement. Choreography looks good in the end, (although there wasn’t much to it) The effects look pretty good too. All together, I enjoyed the film, it was fun to make, (except for the weather)
Cool!
